After their first look, we headed into Old City for portraits, bouncing between spots like Elfreth’s Alley and Race Street Pier. There’s one photo of them standing in front of a simple beige wall that we keep going back to. It sounds like nothing, but the shadows, the tones, and the way they fit together in the frame made it one of our favorites from the whole day. One of those images even made it onto our homepage!

Haley and Jonah’s wedding at the Fairmount Park Horticultural Center was a day we’ll return to often. Not because it was over the top or complicated, but because it felt right. The Hort does that. It lets a wedding unfold without battling the elements or the light. The greenhouse creates a kind of diffused sun that wraps around portraits. The gardens offer variety. It’s structured, but not rigid. Lush, but not overwhelming.

Talia and Jake’s wedding at Bartram’s Garden was pure joy from the very first moment. Talia started her morning at Lokal Hotel in Old City, getting ready in that chic, relaxed space before heading to the barn at Bartram’s Garden to finish her look. She pulled up in a short silk dress with a fur coat and sunglasses, looking like she was stepping onto a movie set. One of the sweetest moments came right after—Talia’s reaction to her bouquet. She was so touched, and honestly, we were too. Sarah from Salt Floral absolutely blew everyone away, and it only got better as the day unfolded.
