So many things to love about Becca and Jim’s wedding – Becca’s amazing Lela Rose dress, the vintage Ford Forlaine, the ever elegant Overbrook estate and finally, Jim and his four(!) brothers being hilarious and making every moment fun. This was such a great wedding.
Megan + Joe under the EL, wandering the unique Philly streets around Front & Palmer. Wait until you see how they decorated their modern wedding venue with a mix of urban and romantic DIY projects. It was amazing.
So many favorite things about this wedding. First, Christine’s 89-year-old grandma “Nana Betty” was a bridesmaid. She was adorable. Second, Nana Betty could keep up with the non-stop shenanigans (read non-stop laughter). Third, this is the second wedding we’ve photographed within a year of someone marrying someone with the same last name. Fourth, we photographed […]
April is a fine month for a wedding, in fact, one of our favorites. Here is Lindsay and Scott, along with their incredibly sweet family and friends at the stunning Lake House Inn.
Style Me Pretty loved Emilee and Jason’s charming and rustic wedding bursting with peonies and vintage finds. They had their wedding ceremony in an open meadow of a horse farm in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, the cocktail hour in the barn, and a tented reception. You can see the full feature here. See more of Emilee […]
To say that Katie and Charlie are serious rowers is an understatement. After photographing them in the Udine Barge Club that’s become their second home, I decided to look it up online to see when Udine was built (1856) and came across a list of awards under each of their names – dozens and dozens […]
It’s always a pleasure to be featured on Style Me Pretty, but we were especially excited to see our ice skating engagement session in the spotlight. We had such a great time doing this. Winter is fast becoming one of my favorite seasons to photograph. Also, if you’re looking for any vendors for your wedding, […]
And you thought it was cold outside in the snow. This is my friend and next door neighbor. We climb over each other’s roof decks to hang out all summer so we thought it was the perfect place to take some photos when it started snowing. Rather than barefoot with beers in the hot sun, […]
Happy Valentine’s Day! Hope you are snuggled up with your sweetie on this cold, snowy day. All of this snow reminds me of Kimber and Michael’s sub zero (but gorgeous) engagement session last winter. We’ve gotten to know these two quite well over the past few years as we met them when we photographed Michael’s […]
We had cocktails in a gorgeous little French place, wandered through vibrant Central Park full of fall color, and happened upon an exquisite opera singer. All in all, a perfect afternoon spent with Becca and Jim in New York.
The elegant Hotel du Pont, a candlelit ceremony, and a sumptuously decorated ballroom with lots of dancing to keep you warm…just the kind of wedding you’d want to be at on a cold, wet winter’s night.
Kelley, Bryan and I had a good time taking photos on this lovely farm. Alvin, their charismatic dog, had an AMAZING time. We’ll save that story for another time to share over a beer. The pony’s alright.
We were thrilled when the Knot asked if they could feature Hana and Wes’ rustic wedding at the Sylvan Lake Lodge in the Black Hills of South Dakota in their article 50 weddings in 50 states! To see more of the day, check it out here!
Hope the holidays and festivities treated everyone well. To start off this new year I’ve got a new film montage to share, You Are Here 2014. It’s Super8mm as always, delicious and infinite (in certain ways). I love these films. I love shooting them, editing them, editing them some more, making the music fit the […]
I’ve never seen a girl so pretty have zero interest in being photographed, and yet that’s the charm of Christie. No wonder Matt fell for her, she has an effortless beauty that is truly stunning. When she pulled on a black leather motorcycle jacket over her lace dress to fight the bitter chill, the look […]
Megan and Joe met in the fashion industry so no surprise that they showed up wearing great outfits. They chose Linvilla for their engagement session where we did some apple picking, apple throwing, apple-induced tackling, and ate apples until our bellies hurt. Dutch and I met Megan when she was a bridesmaid in Amy & […]
True, we’ve had some rain this season. And then we’ve also had some beautiful Fall days as well. Betsy + Scott found themselves enjoying their wedding on a perfect autumn evening at The Morris Arboretum. A sunset during the ceremony, lavender in bloom and cocktails on a walkway within the trees = a pretty fantastic […]
