A Union League wedding is always classy, but Sarah and Jordan’s was utterly glamorous. Maybe it was Sarah’s extraordinary gown or the elegance in how she wore it, maybe it was Papertini’s gorgeous blooms, or perhaps it was just the vibe brought by Sarah and Jordan’s personalities.
Sarah and Jordan couldn’t have been nicer. Though these two live in NYC, they really have a fondness for Philadelphia restaurants and we talked at length about how much we love Zahaz which is near where we live in the city. Obviously, Sara and Jordan have a fondness for it, too, as they had their rehearsal dinner there the night before the wedding. What’s unbelievable though, is that they thought to buy us a cookbook while they were there as a house warming gift (we closed on our place just around their wedding date) and brought it to their wedding. Brought us a gift. To their wedding. Who does that? Really, really nice people. That’s who.
True Beauty Marks did an outstanding job on the hair and makeup and Hudson Paperie, who happen to be Sarah and Jordan’s neighbors, were able to collaborate throughout and fulfill their vision beautifully. The navy and gold was such a perfect match for their grandness of  Lincoln Hall Ballroom in the Union League. Big Ric Rising kept the dance floor packed and sang New York, New York, much to the delight of Sarah’s grandmother who can still kick those heels high.
Federal Donuts! These two really have their finger on the pulse of fine Philadelphia cuisine! Dutch and I had the honor or helping to taste test a multitude of flavors when they were choosing their favor flavors. Yummm! Couples who bring us treats are the best. Congrats you two and stay tuned for Dutch’s Super8 film!
