Rittenhouse Square Engagement Session | Gabrielle + Scott
Golden hour session in the city
Gabrielle and Scott’s session felt easy right from the start. We met them in Rittenhouse Square, and within a few minutes it was clear we weren’t going to need to do much. They just clicked. Gabrielle wore this off-the-shoulder white dress that was beautiful and classic. As we moved through the city toward Logan Square and onto the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, we stopped along the way for some of our favorite frames. Just the two of them in front of Philly’s colonial-style homes. Clean lines, soft light, nothing overdone. Then the golden light really started to hit, and everything opened up in the best way. Philly can be unpredictable with weather and light, but this one lined up perfectly.
Afterward, they headed home to grab their golden retriever, Teddy, and switched into something a little more comfortable. We kept things simple from there. A few playful moments, a lot of laughs, and yes, the pup absolutely had a moment. Their connection carried everything from start to finish, which made the whole session feel natural in a way that doesn’t always come this easily.
