Harris and Olivia’s late winter wedding was one we had circled on the calendar for a while. Ever since their engagement session, we knew it was going to be a good one.
By the time the wedding day rolled around, we were ready. They kept things true to themselves the whole way through. First look and private vows outside in the cemetery behind the church. Quiet, a little unexpected, and honestly kind of perfect. These two lean into what they love, and we’re always here for that.
Olivia, with her “excelsior!” energy, is all warmth and optimism, and she looked incredible. Especially during her portraits at the Old Pine Street Church. The light in there is unreal, soft and steady in all the right places. What enticed Harris and Olivia so much was honestly the thrones. The church has these amazing medieval-esque thrones that took their group portraits to the next level. These two knew exactly what they were doing.
Afterward, everyone made their way to The Twisted Tail, which matched their energy perfectly. It’s one of those spots that feels tucked away but once you’re inside, it opens up into this warm, slightly moody space that just works for a wedding. Drinks were flowing, people bounced between the bar and the upstairs lounge, and yeah, there was some shuffleboard in the mix. A little dancing, a lot of laughing, and that kind of loose, come-as-you-are atmosphere that makes a night stick with you.
It felt like them the entire time, and we had an absolute blast!
