Princeton Engagement Session | Pragya + Jaewon

A cozy and casual engagement session in their favorite neighborhood

Some of my favorite sessions are the ones that stay close to home. There’s something about seeing your actual day-to-day that just makes everything feel more honest. Where do you go for coffee on a Saturday? What’s your go-to takeout spot? Pragya and Jaewon brought me right into their world for their Princeton engagement session, and it felt easy from the start.

We kicked things off with their two very cute (and very curious) cats, which honestly set the tone for the whole session. From there, we made our way to Hoagie Haven, one of their go-to spots, then slowed things down a bit at Small World Coffee. Nothing overcomplicated. Just places they actually spend time in. It didn’t hurt that they had some really neat signage and beautiful displays.

We ended on the campus of Princeton University, where Jaewon proposed. A simple, full-circle kind of ending. Just the two of them, walking through a place that already meant something.
