Let me tell you about this wedding at Irwin’s. We don’t take it lightly when couples trust us to shape how their day is documented, especially for something as intimate as this microwedding at Bok. These two gave us full freedom when it came to coverage. We originally planned for two shooters, but once we got a feel for the day, it was clear it didn’t need it. The vibe was intimate, a little sultry, very intentional. One camera felt right. They even started the day with some getting ready photos that leaned a little sexy. Not the kind we’ll be sharing here, but they definitely set the tone.
The ceremony and reception were both at Irwin’s, the bar and restaurant on Bok’s rooftop. It’s a swanky space with a bit of edge, and it matched them perfectly. A small group of Philadelphia’s funkiest gathered as the sun dropped behind the skyline. Drinks flowing, good music, that warm rooftop light doing its thing. It felt relaxed but still elevated, like everyone knew exactly why they were there.
Days like this remind us that more isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s just about the right people, a great space, and the freedom to let it all unfold naturally.
