New York Engagement Session | Nikita + Neil
Fun engagement session that ended at a New York pizza shop
Nikita and Neil don’t get swallowed by a space. They fill it. That became clear fast during their engagement session in New York. We spent an afternoon moving through the city, and the energy never dipped. They were comfortable indoors, outdoors, in motion, and in the pauses. That range is rare. It makes our job easy.
We started at their favorite wine bar, a place they’ve met up dozens of times, a place familiar and comfortable to them. Also the location of their first date. It was a poignant start to the session and a great way to loosen up and get to know one another. After the wine bar, we walked the streets and let New York do its thing around us. Nikita wore a yellow slip dress that sat perfectly and moved naturally when she walked. Neil kept pace with her, relaxed, sharp, and steady. We stopped for pizza at Rivoli Pizza II, clarified which Rivoli we meant, took a few photos, and grabbed a cab shot because it’s a New York engagement session. Ending the afternoon in the park gave the session a softer landing. It was more casual, familiar, and exactly where they’re most at ease.
