Longwood Gardens is one of my favorite places for an engagement session, but what really makes this one shine? How comfortable Tara and Zack were. How they let their guard down and could laugh and be silly and also be sweet and romantic. Though they both look like they could be models, you’re more likely to find them traipsing through the woods in camo with their dog bow-hunting or tracking wild pigs through the brush in Hawaii than you are in front of the camera. They’re actually both quite shy (though adventurous and big hearted and wild and crazy!).  And that’s what makes this shoot even more special to me. That they trusted me to guide them and let themselves be enveloped in the session, to embrace whatever came and just enjoy the process.
