I can’t think of a sweeter pair. Pooja and Anand were so kind and welcoming, the kind of couple you instantly root for. We got to spend the whole weekend with them, photographing and filming, all the moments, big and small.
The first night was their Sangeet at the Notary Hotel in Center City, Philadelphia. And boy was it good. The room looked incredible. Bright colors everywhere, pink and yellow flowers overflowing across a stage draped in green. It was already buzzing before the music even started, and once it did the whole place lifted. Dancing, cheering, and that happy kind of chaos you always hope for at a Sangeet.
Cutting this highlight together was pure fun. The film is fast, upbeat, and full of energy, matched perfectly to the song. It flies in all the best ways. Every frame moves, every moment feels connected, and it captures exactly what the night felt like.

Day 2 of their Indian wedding weekend started back at the Notary Hotel, but the real beginning was their first look at City Hall. From there, the pace never slowed. The Baraat took over Broad Street, and Anand made one of the coolest entrances we’ve seen, riding in on a white horse as his family and friends danced and cheered him forward. Watching him open up and lean into the celebration was honestly awesome. You could feel the pride and excitement around him.
After their ceremony, the celebration shifted into a new chapter. Pooja changed into a bold green gown, and the party moved to the Please Touch Museum. The energy stayed high, but the day also made room for the meaningful stuff too heartfelt speeches, family dances that crossed generations, and moments of humor tucked into the exhibits and displays. Kids and grandparents, cousins and college friends, everyone found their place in the night. Pooja and Anand even stole a few minutes to wander the museum together, laughing at the nostalgia and playfulness around them. It felt unscripted, alive, and true to them.
Same roots, same culture, two incredible nights, one very easy couple to celebrate.
