Direct flash led this gallery, and it earned its place at the front. Clean, punchy light that feels editorial, modern, and a little cinematic. Elle and Andrey looked like themselves, just dialed up in all the right ways. Alyssa photographed them in the perfect way.
The session started at P.J. Clarke’s in Old City, martinis in hand and smiles locked in. The jukebox and cozy booth moments brought a cinematic rhythm to the gallery, followed by a walk through Philly’s streets where the city did the heavy lifting. Cobblestones, crosswalks, and classic Old City architecture layered the story without overpowering it. The stop at the Ritz Five movie theater brings in a playful chapter at the concessions stand. And truly, Elle + Andrey + a bag of popcorn = magic. It just works. The photos feel nostalgic, cinematic, and cool. These became some of our favorite engagement frames of the year.
The session closed out in natural light, soft and simple, letting the city breathe for the final frames. The gallery feels elevated, personal, and memorable. It’s stylish because it’s them. And that’s exactly why we love it.
