Justina and Nick began their day exactly where you’d want a wedding to begin. In the gardens at Hotel Du Village, where every hedge, bloom, and stone pathway is perfectly manicured. They kept it simple. We photographed it gently. Their reactions did the rest. From there, we wandered the grounds for portraits, taking advantage of all the greenery.
Then we headed to Our Lady of Guadalupe in Doylestown for their ceremony. And yes, it really is that beautiful. The grounds are almost unfair. They echoed the garden aesthetic of Hotel Du Village. More importantly, as wedding photographers, we adore natural light in a church. Truly. The kind of light that fills a space evenly and beautifully is the kind that makes our job easier, but it also makes the images better. Softer skin tones. Cleaner shadows. Less grain. More authenticity. It’s the type of lighting every wedding photographer hopes for, especially those of us who shoot both candidly and editorially. The ceremony itself was heartfelt and sincere, rooted in tradition, prayer, and community. When they exited to cheers, their friends waved white streamers with joy and excitement.
The reception back at Hotel Du Village moved from toasts to laughter to a dance floor that stayed full. One of the sweetest moments of the night was Justina’s mother-daughter dance. A thoughtful and personal twist on a beloved tradition, and a reminder that parent-child dances are about connection, not convention. It was tender, genuine, and full of natural smiles that needed no direction from us.
We stepped out during golden hour for portraits by the fields. The light stretched low and warm, giving us those rich, natural tones we love. Those frames turned into favorites fast.
