After this shoot, I couldn’t wait to get the photos edited. Seeing the gallery now, it confirms I had every reason to be excited about it.
We started at Philadelphia’s City Hall in the afternoon. Grand stone, sweeping lines, endless architectural pockets to play with. As wedding photographers, we love when a location brings structure and personality to the frame.
Akela showed up in an oversized leather jacket with corduroy accents. Sharp. Chic. Retro. It suited her perfectly. Steve stepped right in beside her, matching the moment with the same natural confidence. Together, their range was vast. Silly. Serious. Editorial. Seamless.
We ended on the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art at golden hour. Warm light washing over the stone steps. Philly at its most iconic. They glided through portraits, soft and playful and composed, all in equal measure. When the sun dropped low and the steps turned gold, it felt like the perfect final frame.
