Most weddings don’t come with their own neighborhood folklore, but Madison and Sean’s does. On the way to their Bok reception, they made a pit stop at Dirty Franks in full wedding attire. Drinks in hand, surrounded by regulars, they turned a normal Saturday into something unforgettable. Fast forward more than a year later, they walked back in and someone actually recognized them. He remembered their exact wedding day stop and even had photos saved from that night. That’s Madison and Sean for you; Wherever they go, they leave a story behind.
We had already hung out with them for their South Philly engagement session in late summer, so when the wedding came around it felt like celebrating with old friends. These two know how to keep things real and fun, which made every part of the day a blast to photograph.
Their winter wedding fit right into that vibe. Sean showed up in a velvet green suit that couldn’t have been more perfect, especially since it pulled out Madison’s striking eyes. Madison looked incredible in her gown with a white fur wrap. Together, they leaned into everything quirky and charming about Bok. Rooftop portraits at golden hour, wandering the building’s character-filled hallways, and finally a gymnasium reception strung with glowing white twinkle lights, some in the shape of snowflakes. It felt festive, cozy, and a little unexpected.
