Nick and Maya’s Indian fusion wedding at Pen Ryn was pure bliss. They chose River’s Edge for their ceremony, a spot that sits right on the water with the best views of the Delaware. The sun was shining, the breeze was light, and it felt like the whole day was lined up in their favor.
Their day began downtown with portraits at Merchant’s Exchange, where Maya wore a striking orange lehenga that radiated against the historic stone backdrop. Nick looked incredibly sharp in a white Sherwani with cream details. One of the most memorable moments came after portraits when Nick arrived at his Baraat in a vintage car rental. Music poured through the street, friends and family danced alongside, and the energy was magnetic.
By the time everyone gathered at River’s Edge, the ceremony space had been transformed. A Cottage Gardener created a tropical-inspired design of reds, oranges, and pinks that felt alive and untamed. After the ceremony, Maya changed into a cream and white two-piece outfit to match her groom. Her henna was breathtaking, with intricate patterns running up her arms and small illustrations woven into the designs. Hidden among them were two cats, echoed in Nick’s own henna, a sweet nod to their shared life.
The whole day was filled with laughter, color, and love. Their Hindu wedding blended tradition with a modern sense of style, honoring their culture while staying deeply personal. Pen Ryn’s River’s Edge was the perfect stage for it all. It was a Pen Ryn wedding that felt entirely their own, and a reminder of how beautiful and heartfelt an Indian fusion wedding can be on the banks of the Delaware River.
