Bri and Fareed’s Philadelphia elopement was the kind of day that reminds us why we love what we do. When we first started talking, the plan was leaning toward a big wedding with all the moving parts that come with it. But as time went on, they felt drawn to something quieter, something that was just for them. They decided on an intimate elopement, and we were thrilled. There’s a special energy that comes with elopements. The emotions feel so present and pure, the focus entirely on the couple and their love.
They started the morning at Anna & Bel, a boutique hotel in Fishtown with mid century modern charm. After getting ready together, they signed the official papers and made it all real. The celebration came right after with champagne and a vintage inspired cake with textured white frosting. It was simple, sweet, and full of joy. We captured portraits around the hotel before heading out, soaking in the calm before the city became part of their story.
Afterward, we hopped on a bus to the 18th Century Gardens, where the couple exchanged vows surrounded by greenery. From there, we made our way into the city for the quintessential City Hall elopement photos. Broad Street gave us that perfect mix of editorial and documentary moments—Bri and Fareed against the backdrop of Philly’s most iconic landmark.
This Philly elopement was simple, stylish, and heartfelt, proving that smaller celebrations can hold just as much beauty and meaning as the biggest wedding day.
