There are several things that come to mind when we think about Rachel and Sean’s wedding day at Fairmount Park Horticulture Center. Off the bat, they are a gorgeous couple. Rachel is practically the embodiment of chic.
Next, my mind goes to the amazing design. The vendor team for this wedding couldn’t have been better. Jaclyn Fisher and Fabu Florals pulled out all the stops and composed two of the most beautiful ceremony and reception spaces we’ve seen. The blue and orange velvet seating area is forever a favorite and is actually where some of our favorite moments of their film take place. They exchanged vows beneath a chuppah bursting with soft hydrangeas and vines, the greenhouse bathing everyone in that magical, golden-hour glow.
Our final memory is how that beautiful reception space turned into a full-on dance party. Everyone in the greenhouse was on their feet until Rachel and Sean left the ground and were launched into the air for a wild hora. The party continued through the evening, and when it had to, it closed with a legendary visit from none other than Gritty, the Philadelphia Flyers’ rambunctious mascot.
Having Sweetwater handle both photography and videography meant Rachel and Sean could fully soak in their day without extra distractions. Our lead photographer gently guided them when needed, keeping things easy and relaxed, while the rest of our team quietly captured natural, creative moments. No fuss, no intrusive instructions, just clear and beautiful storytelling so they could simply be themselves and enjoy every minute.
