Romantic and classic Philadelphia wedding at Morris Arboretum & Gardens

Sarah and Scott’s wedding day at Morris Arboretum had all the ingredients of a perfect summer celebration—lush gardens, colorful details, and, of course, a surprise appearance from Mother Nature herself in the form of rain. But here’s the thing: rain doesn’t ruin a wedding when the couple is as ridiculously in love as these two. Instead of stressing, Sarah and Scott leaned right into it, grabbing some of the most romantic, misty portraits on the Parkway by the Art Museum before heading to their ceremony. A little rain never hurt anyone—if anything, it made the whole day feel even more cinematic.

Thanks to The Styled Bride and Flower Clvb, the ceremony unfolded perfectly against a backdrop of sunset-inspired florals inside the Morris Arboretum, a warm contrast to the cool drizzle outside. The details were modern, vibrant, and full of personality—splashes of orange, pink, and purple weaving through the day like little bursts of joy. Chick Invitations nailed the vibe with a sleek, contemporary invitation suite that set the tone from the start. And then there was Sarah’s reception look—she switched into a stunning two-piece set from Kinfolk Bride, a bridal studio in Bok (which, fun fact, is also home to our photo studio). Effortless, stylish, and ready to dance the night away.

Photographing couples like Sarah and Scott is exactly why we do what we do. There’s something magnetic about people who are just fully into each other—no frills, no fuss, just genuine, all-in love. They weren’t worried about the forecast or whether things were going “perfectly.” They were there to get married, to celebrate, and to soak in every second together. And that’s the kind of energy that makes for the best photos.
