Betsy and Andrew’s wedding was just as cool as we knew it would be. These two first met at Bob and Barbara’s, Philly’s favorite dive bar, so when they were throwing around the idea of meeting at the bar for their first look we knew this was going to be a fun day. Nothing like toasting the start of your wedding with a PBR in the bar where it all started! Our Associate photographer Matt photographed their wedding and he was more than happy with the unconventional, relaxed start to the day.
The wedding celebration itself took place at The College of Physicians, home of the Mutter Museum. If you don’t know the Mutter Museum, you are missing out. It’s a fantastic collection of medical oddities and I can’t think of anywhere else you can peruse the tallest man’s skeleton and jars full of body parts. It’s weird. And wonderful. Anyway, I mention this because Andrew’s shirt couldn’t’ have been more perfect for their wedding, a vintage designer shirt adorned with skeletons that he found in Paris! Their style was spot on and the room looked beautiful, too. Even though the rain forced them inside for the ceremony, you can’t go wrong getting married on a marble staircase surrounded by all your favorite people. Cheers to Betsy and Andrew!
