Philadelphia food trucks at a 23rd Street Armory wedding, can you imagine a better party/wedding/shindig? Which is just how a wedding should be. Erin and John were so relaxed, so cool, so completely present. They had an awesome wedding party. The girls all picked out their own dresses (plus one jumpsuit which I loved) in soft shades of grey. We met up with the boys at Fitler Square for the First Look (see more photos of that here). There may or may not have been some Fireball spilled down the front of a bridemaid’s dress just before we started photos. That’s when we knew for sure it was going to be a fun day!
Dutch and I met Erin and John at the dog park a few years back (fact is, we’ve made a lot of friends from the dog park, thanks Doc!). Their dog Penny is super lovable and sweet. Penny and Doc are friends and it was very easy to become friends with Erin and John. It was actually really funny at the wedding to see a bunch of other dog park people we “know”, but know only through interactions via our dogs. We were like “Oh hey, Rover’s owner, how’s it going?
When Erin and John contacted us about shooting their wedding we were so excited to hear the details –  23rd Street Armory (which is like a huge fortress standing center city Philadelphia) and three food trucks. Done! Their wedding was tons of fun and Erin looked absolutely stunning. You’ve got to have a rockin’ body to wear that dress and this girl wore it. Wow.
Their first look was one of our favorites so we did a separate blog post on just that with a bunch of pictures, you can see it here.
And right as we were about to pack up, the Lawrie family tradition started…The Devil Went Down to Georgia.
