A bride and groom’s first look is one of my favorite parts of the wedding day. There is so much anticipation and planning leading up to this one moment. Erin and John’s first look really embodied what we love about it. Look at John’s face. It’s all right there; the smile, the excitement, the slight nervousness.
The best moment was their walk over to their wedding party just after they saw each other. Scroll down and look at how this bride moves in her dress. She is rocking it, loving every minute of it. Not afraid of dirt, not thinking about her hair, she is living in the moment celebrating with all their friends. I love when a bride and groom can let go of all the planning, all the days of hard work leading up to this moment, and just be together with shining eyes and loving hearts. Erin and John, you two were so much fun!
Their first look was in Fitler Square, a charming little park in center city Philadelphia. Stay tuned for the rest of their wedding coming next week! We scoped out our favorite little streets in Philly and wandered around with the wedding party to get some really fun shots before heading over to the 23rd Street Armory for their wedding. Know what else you don’t want to miss? Food trucks. That’s right. Erin and John had food trucks “cater” their wedding. Yes, you can do that and yes, it’s awesome.
