Is there a better place to be on a sunny day in June that at the bucolic Cairnwood Estate for a wedding? Liz and Scot’s wedding was beyond beautiful and their infectious smiles and laughter made it all the better.
I have to share with you how I met this pretty girl, it’s very serendipitous. About fourĀ years ago at a local coffee shop, Liz was having lunch with her dad Bill. We got to chatting and I showed them some of my work. You know, just passing the time and enjoying getting to know someone at the table next to you. Fast-forward two and a half-years later, I stop in for coffee and the barista hands me a scrap of paper and said “some guy was in here asking about you. He said he met you a couple of years ago with his daughter. You’re supposed to call him.” I knew instantly who it was. Liz and her dad had made that much of an impression on me. So, I called Bill immediately; he was incredulous that I remembered them and I was incredulous that he took the time to track me down in Philadelphia with only the description “the blond photographer that comes in here.” Ha! Philly is SO small sometimes.
So, long story short, we feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to photograph Liz and Scot. They are such an amazing couple and I’m so glad we know them and their wonderful families. Enjoy!
This wedding had a FANTASTIC team of people: Papertini, Starr Events, Whipped Bakeshop & Synergetic Sounds. Amazing job!
