Hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. Our last few weddings of the fall were awesome, I can’t wait to share them as we finish up the editing. This one is a beauty. Katie & Frank’s wedding at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel and Old Saint Joseph’s Church in Old City was really elegant. The view from the 33rd floor of the Loews during cocktail hour was hands down the best decor you could ask for, though Rhoads Garden did a great job with the flowers. Wendy’s Affairs of Heart proved, once again, that it’s indispensable to have a planner on your wedding day and The Renaissance Orchestra had everyone dancing. It was our first time working with Clark Walker Studio for video. When you’re all vying for the best angle, it’s a huge relief working with people like Josh who are just as excited as you are to create something amazing and have a good time.
Lastly and most importantly, Katie and Frank are such nice people. I am amazed over and over again by what great couples we get to work with. A wedding brings with it occasional stress and craziness. In the midst of it all, when a bride and groom are still gracious and loving, you know they’re here for the right reasons. On a day that’s sometimes “all about me,” we continually find ourselves photographing weddings for couples who are all about their family and friends. Thanks for making us feel a part of that. It’s awesome.
