Then right before I photographed her wedding, our brand-new baby vomited on her shoulder, and that seemed to seal the deal—now here we are, best friends, documenting this next wild, beautiful chapter. We stuck close to home for both comfort and weather—always a solid move when you’re this far along and the forecast can’t make up its mind.
We started outdoors, leaning into the bold, playful colors of the buildings nearby. It was an easy, lighthearted start that gave us some fun contrast and movement. But some of our favorite images came once we headed back into her space, where everything felt softer, slower, more grounded.
Larissa changed into a simple two-piece set and stepped barefoot into her garden, belly out, watering flowers like it was just any other afternoon. The shots in the doorway—half shadow, half light—feel like little love letters to this chapter. Honest, earthy, and strong.
